We don’t own a boat, but I’ve been using these clips nonstop for all kinds of random DIY chaos around the house. Fixing broken kid toys? Clip. Attaching paper to an easel for my little artists? Clip. Holding down a tarp during a surprise rainstorm? Clip. Refinishing a chair and need something to clamp the fabric? Clip. These things are beefy, strong, and way more versatile than I expected. I don’t think I’ve used them for an actual towel yet, but they’re still one of the best little utility items I’ve picked up in a while.Affordable, tough, and wildly useful. Honestly, I might just keep a set in every room.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We bought these mostly for price but it turns out we would have spent more and been entirely satisfied. We use them on our boat rails to hang clothes, towels, and as an occasional light duty clamp for repairs. They are just the right size. More importantly the springs in them, while secure, aren't too stiff so even the kids can easily open them. We've had similar clamps in the past but they required two hands to open. Now it's easily a one handed operation. Recommended.

I use these clamps on a couple towel drying racks we have at our pool. They hold the towels onto the bar of the towel rack perfectly, even when its windy! The clamp handle has a nice rubber texture to it as well, so they are easy to open with wet hands. These aren't weak clamps either. Very comparable to my shop spring clamps. Love the bright orange colors, especially if you drop the in the grass or landscaping, they are easy to spot.

Your towel won't blow away with these! They are very strong and will definitely hold a towel to a beach chair, boat rail or even a deck rail if you want to hang your towel up to dry. We haven't tried them at the beach yet, but will be doing that during a trip this summer, and have no concerns that they won't work in beach wind. We've been using them on our deck and on a dock on a lake, both of which tend to get late afternoon wind. Towels don't budge at all when clamped down with these. And we use them to hang our towels up to dry when coming back from pool or lake. They will now be a staple in our beach/lake/pool bags.

I have always told the people I camp with that you can't have too many clamps. These things have a million and 1 uses.I would call these neither heavy duty nor light duty. They fall in the middle. The spring tension is very strong and there is no play at the pivoting point. The grips are a softer rubbery compound to keep wet hands from slipping on them. The jaws pivot which gives the clamp better purchase on uneven surfaces. I have had other plastic clamps with pivoting jaws and they invariably tend to fall off and sometimes get lost. Not these. I gave the jaws a good tug and they stayed put.However.......there is one issue that keeps me from giving these 5 stars. The surface of the jaws, although slightly textured, tends to slip on smooth surfaces. It is hard plastic which is slippery to start with. I think the jaws would benefit from deeper texturing or perhaps some ridges.I prefer plastic clamps over steel for one main reason. Rust. I use all my clamps outdoors and the steel ones quickly develop a "patina". Plastic clamps do succumb to UV rays eventually but it takes a long time.As a side note, these would make good chip clips.

Having wrestled with flimsy, low-quality spring clamps in the past, I can confidently say that these are different. This 8-pack of spring clamps is well-made and durable. The spring is exceptionally strong, providing a secure and reliable grip. These aren't going to slip or lose their tension. The high-quality rubber on the handles also makes a difference, offering a comfortable and slip-resistant grip even when you're applying significant pressure. And getting eight clamps in a pack is incredibly convenient – you'll always have one handy when you need it.While marketed for marine use, the versatility of these clamps goes far beyond boats. I'm already planning to use them for everything from temporarily hanging tarps and cloths to securely clamping thin pieces of wood together during projects. If you're looking for robust, dependable spring clamps, I can highly recommend this pack!

I was short on spring clamps for a project and picked these up. Quantity is good, for sure. Quality seems fine- plastic seems strong enough and the spring tension is good for most things you’d use these for. The tips articulate which is a nice touch, but they might come across as a little flimsy- but no issues yet so we will see on durability. Great value for the money.

This set of ‘Spring Clamps 8 Pack Marine Boat Rail Towel Clips’ offered by Wylunbi is described as mostly for boats. I don’t have a boat, but use clamps all the time. The other spring loaded clamps I have are straight sided, while these are curved, so there is more room in between the clamp, which makes them better for a lot of uses. As one example, I often have to re-glue soles of athletic shoes, and the shoes need to be clamped while the glue dries. Other clamps can’t get around the show, but these can. They are a little on the small side, both in terms of the handles and the distance from the pivot point to the tips, so that is a bit of a limiting factor, but other than that I’ve already found a bunch of uses for them, including holding a plastic tarp on a fence.
