This 6-piece heavy-duty steel pipe extractor set is tough, reliable, and covers common pipe sizes from 1/8″ to 1″. The straight-flute design grips well to remove broken pipes with ease. Comes in a handy case with clear markings—perfect for DIYers and pros alike!

This steel pipe extractor set came in handy for a tough plumbing repair. The tools feel sturdy, and the case keeps everything organized. Worked well on a broken pipe in a tight space. Great to have on hand for emergency fixes.

These broken pipe extractors are extremely handy when you're unlucky enough to snap the threaded portion of a pipe inside a female fitting. The build quality is excellent. Just be sure to select the correct size for your task. If none of the extractors fit properly, you can drill out the center of the broken pipe to size it up for the next larger extractor.

It works and from what I can tell it's as advertised. Heavy bits, sturdy and thick case. Should fit most tool boxes and doesn't take a lot of space in a tool bag.A very job specific item which, unless your a plumber or gas fitter, you may only use a dozen times or so in just as many years. I imagine this would be a handy tool to have on a Farm also. I'm surrounded by Agriculture and have helped many farmers replace parts for their wells and pressure systems, especially during the winters. For me, this is one of those tools I wish I had when I needed it and, having options when trying to fix or replace a broken pipe is a good thing.

I'm not an expert on these but I had my plumber friend check it out and he says this is a great set that will come in handy when the need arises. They definitely feel durable and I would guess they will last for a long time. They are about even with other similar sets in cost but I think the materials used are better on this set. I would recommend.

Good set and it is priced well. You must have it if you work with have steel pipes. The bits are heavy, well made, and they bite into steel quite well. This advantage of this set is that it works with both Schedule-40 and Schedule-80 pipes. But that is also the disadvantage -- the bits are a bit too wide for Schedule-80, so you may not get a good grip. However, broken pipes are usually corroded to the point where you can grind the inside to make it slightly wider. In most cases, this will be sufficient for this set to be effective with Sch80.The finish and cutting edges on the 1" bit are a bit uneven. It should not affect functionality, but it makes the tool look a bit cheap.
