New sensors are not reliable and fail or cause intermittent operation. Everything else is good. Nice looking and decent quality.

Install wasn't too bad, all the seals seem fine. However, after only 1,000 miles, the piece that holds the oil filter inside the cap broke and lodged itself in the oil filter, cutting off oil and throwing the dreaded P06DD (low oil pressure) code.Thankfully I kept the filter cap from OE and was able to replace it, but only after my Jeep going into limp mode several times to get it home to investigate.

years ago I pre-emptively bought a dorman aluminum base and haven't needed to install it.there's been a few complaints about the dorman unit leaking at the figure-8 seals, so I bought different seals (red) that I haven't used either. They don't seem different from the dorman ones, though may be a different material.when this popped up available for review including the sensors and aluminum cooler for half what I paid for the other stuff, I couldn't resist ordering it and taking it apart to see what they did for the seals.while they appear to be more-or-less the same seals dimensionally as used in the dorman kit, the channel they sit looked narrower. Measuring says about .015 narrower, so less space for the seal to escape into.build quality looks ok. Not as polished as the dorman (top in picture) and less elegant in the pass-thru tunnel, but I'm not concerned with how pretty it is - especially since you can't see it when it's installed.it's about time to change my plugs, so while I'm in there I'll swap this thing in and update the review if oil appears where it shouldn't or if the seals seem to be inferior to the originals.the unit comes completely assembled and ready to bolt on. The bottom seals are also preinstalled (right unit in second pic).

I read a lot of reviews on different oil filter housing for the jk jeep wrangler about sensors not working and oil pressure issues this one worked out great so far from the gate I had no sensor issues and it took care of my oil leak a+++ and it’s well constructed
