I picked up this little MP3 player partly out of curiosity and partly because I’ve always liked having a dedicated music device that doesn’t drain my phone battery or force me to carry a small tablet on my morning walks. What I got was a surprisingly capable pocket companion that delivers far more functionality than you’d expect at this size and price. It’s not meant to replace your phone, and it won’t stream Spotify, but for locally stored music, audiobooks, FM radio, or even voice memos, it does the job and then some.My Rubric✅ Good = Qualifies as a selling point➖ So-So = Not great, but also nothing resembling a show stopper❌ Not Good = Could be a show stopperMy star ratings, which tend to skew upward due to limitations in the 5 star system are further elaborated in a decimalized scoring at the end of the review. Finally, although some items have been freely offered via the Vine system, I refuse to sell out and will never allow a vendor to influence my scoring through any means other than the quality of the product, both on its own and in relation to the current pricing at the time of my review. I value the efforts of other honest reviewers and wish nothing more than to pay their efforts forward in hopes of faithfully guiding others to informed decisions. The Good✅ Compact, lightweight, and easy to carry -- ideal for walks, travel, or just throwing in a pocket✅ Solid Bluetooth connection with headphones and speakers -- simple pairing, steady playback✅ 64GB built-in storage with support for up to 256GB more via SD card -- plenty of room for music or audiobooks✅ Functional FM radio (with headphones as antenna), built-in speaker, and voice recorder✅ Responsive touchscreen and intuitive interface make it easy for kids and less tech-savvy folks✅ No software needed -- drag and drop your files directly from PC or even via OTG from a phoneThe So-So➖ Screen is small and not suited for serious ebook reading -- best used for music browsing only➖ Included earbuds are functional, but audio quality is basic -- you’ll want to upgrade if you’re picky about sound➖ User manual is more of a pamphlet than a guide -- thankfully, the device is easy enough to figure outThe Not-Good❌ Not ideal for those expecting smartphone-level audio customization or advanced streaming featuresThe DetailsThe 2.4" screen is perfectly serviceable for song browsing or checking battery life, but let’s just say you won’t be reading any novels on it. That said, the touchscreen is responsive and the menu layout is refreshingly uncluttered. Navigation is quick and feels natural. As for connectivity, I had no problem syncing this to my Bluetooth headphones, and the built-in speaker was a nice bonus for casual background listening.Battery life has held up nicely through a few commutes and yardwork sessions, and the drag-and-drop file transfer over USB-C couldn’t be easier. It even supports OTG transfer from phones, which is handy if you're traveling without a laptop. There’s something satisfying about having a music library stored locally with no logins, updates, or app glitches to worry about. It’s not a premium device, and it doesn’t try to be one. It does exactly what it promises: stores and plays your media, connects reliably, and fits comfortably in your hand or pocket. For the price, it’s hard to beat.Final Rating: 4.5/5 (An excellent little media player with just the right balance of simplicity and features for everyday use.)

This is a really solid little MP3 player. It is very small and light (but feels rugged with a metal body), so it's much easier to use than carrying my phone in my pocket when I walk or work in the yard. It also doesn't need a wifi or phone connection to be useful, which is the primary thing I am looking for. The FM radio reception is quite good - you have to plug in the earbuds to have a functioning antenna. The sound is also quite good through the earbuds, and I had no trouble connecting to my bluetooth earbuds either. If you have MP3 files on your computer, they are easy to download through the provided USB cable. My next task is to download some audiobooks - I think I will have to rely on audiobooks without digital rights restrictions. The screen is functional but small, though the menus are easily readable. Reading ebooks is very impractical however. The recorder function is also quite useful. At 64GB of memory, there is room for lots of music. This little player is so much better than the MP3 players I have used in the past, and though most people use big phones for most of these functions, this little player is a great alternative when you don't want a heavy block in your pocket.

This little MP3 player was ready to use, right out of the box. But I charged it anyway to make sure before testing. The earbuds were OK and stayed in my ears but the quality of their output was not quite up to my standards. I couldn't tell a difference when choosing any of the different EQ modes. But with 64 gig of space, you can get LOTS of music on it.It is so small that the screen can be challenging to see. But for those who use it only for music listening and do little interacting with the screen, it should be great. It weighs practically nothing so you hardly realize it's in your pocket. The earbuds are long enough to keep the player in your pocket while listening. The user manual, if you can call a sheet of paper a manual, is hard to understand so you are left to figure it out by yourself. But with so little to figure out (it's that easy to operate), it hardlly matters. While this is not really for me, it would make a great gift for a tween. The price is good, it's convenient, comes with everything you need to get started, and it's easy to use right out of the box. If 64 gig isn't enough room for you, just add up to 256 gig of a standard (NOT a micro) SD card and you're good to go.

This was intended for my 12 year old granddaughter who will be going on her first cruise soon. She was absolutely delighted upon its receipt! As she said ( and I honestly hadn't even really considered) now she can listen to music without draining her phone battery. Yes!The unit itself is teeny tiny which for me adds to its appeal. I wouldn't use this device for anything more than music however some people don't mind viewing on tiny little screens. The player is sleek and minimal adding to its "cool" appeal. Touchscreen is responsive and the ear buds fit well with enough length to pocket the device while using. The sound is very good in my opinion and while there are no adjustments to be accessed I didn't find tweaking necessary. I am also not an audio engineer so take my opinion for what it's worth- a commoner listening person.I am not sure how durable this little player is which is why I gave it four stars. The unit seems solid but there isn't much indication in the packaging or instructions that it is something to use without care. I will update this review if I learn of contrary info after its intended vacation usage. For the price I think this is a wonderful gift for anyone that enjoys music and James Bond tiny equipment!
