Only buy this product if you are looking to run it on nearly full power and for short periods only. It's very loud, but this is somewhat to be expected.The unexpected part is that the dial to adjust the throttle doesn't functions along the full range that is provided. Once you attempt to dial the power down to less than 2/3rds the unit doesn't maintain a consistent low speed. The unit just pulses up to full speed and then shuts off for a second on then off. Over and over. Loudly. This is very misleading based on how the product is hardwired into an adjustable dial. The expectation being that the product would function to the perimeters provided.Would not suggest this product to others.

Fan works fine, using it as a fan to cool lines in a keg fridge set up. Last evening, after running for only 12 hours or so, it became VERY loud. Making a grinding sound almost, very displeased. Likely will be returning.
