This has been fantastic for my 8 year old! He has to do tasks spread out and not all at once. We set the timer for "fun" time, then when it's done, he completes his chores/tasks. When the task is done, he sets the timer again. We go back and forth like this all day. I don't even have to monitor him, he comes and finds me when it goes off and asks what his job is. It used to be so hard to get him to do anything. He loves watching the timer and feels more responsible now.

Wir haben uns diesen Wecker aufgrund einer Empfehlung gekauft, da unser Kind so zeitliche Vorgaben besser visualisieren kann.Der Wecker ist super leicht zu bedienen. Unserem Kind hilft es ungemein, zu erkennen wie viel Zeit ihm bspw. noch zum spielen bleibt.Es erspart uns unnötige Diskussionen und Ärger.

Cute timer, but it loses battery power really fast. We've had it for 6 weeks and we've had to replace the batteries 3x. There is no on/off to save the batteries, and no indication that it's NOT working until you observe that the timer isn't actually moving (messing up the current thing you're working on).

I bought the orange one, it was super cute and at first worked fine. After a couple weeks it just stopped working. I returned it and received a new one and we barely used it and it has also just stopped working. Unfortunately I'm past the return window so I'll just need to throw it away. I would buy a different brand next time.

I know this is made for children, but it works great for adults too. It's easy to fall down a rabbit hole while searching for something online, or in my case working on artwork and miniatures. Before I know it it's been 2 hours and midnight is fast approaching. With this timer, I don't need to break my creative flow or deep dive detective work for that elusive widget I've been looking for to stop and switch my brain over to convert clock time and minutes and waste time trying to figure out how much time I have left and if I can do get everything done in that time. Instead, I can quickly glance up and view the disappearing kiwi and know without actually thinking. With a clock I immediately feel stressed that I've been doing my artwork for too long and feel guilty. Instead with the Kiwi timer I just feel happy and if I have to turn the dial for a quarter more slice (15 min) its okay. For creative adults or anyone with Neurodiversity issues such as learning disabilities or ADHD it is really ideal. Instead of the harsh teacher's ruler on your desk and a menacing black & white faced ticking clock this timer nudges you with humor and color what a JOY!

Great for easily distracted kids. They can clearly see the amount of time, or fruit, left even if they are too young to tell time. I used this to keep my ADHD kids motivated to get ready for bed in a timely fashion. We simply set the appropriate time & let the kids know they had "x" amount of time to get in PJs, brush teeth, & be ready for bed or they would have set consequence, such as no time left to read a book before bed, etc.

As someone that is easily distracted while working on important projects that I should not be multitasking on, using the pomodoro method to work is necessary. This timer is a super cute visual reminder that I should be using my time wisely.
