The work ok the beads are not super tight so they tend to move as long as your careful you can use them but chances are they will slide on there on if your looking for decoration use they would be a good fit

Hang nicely on my backpack. The beads move smoothly and hold position for pace counting. They are larger than I expected, but really love them. They also look nice!

Long distance swimmers would benefit from a 'fastex' like snap to keep drag to a minimum. And colors like aqua, neon pink, neon orange and neon yellow would be welcome as gifts for swim team members. That would be a great expansion of your customer base. Oh, for hiking, they work fine as is-for long distance lap swimming, fine with minor alteration
