I own and manage a handful of short term rental properties. Last week a guest broke the pull chain to the lights on one of the ceiling fans. It happens, so I knew I could get on Amazon and order replacement parts and get them delivered quickly. I’m glad these come as a 5 piece set because the first one broke on the very first pull of the chain. I got to do it over and immediately install a new one. The second one has so far held up for about 60 pulls because I put it to the test right away pulling the chain over and over. If it was going to break again, I wanted it to happen with me and that with a guest. Fortunately it’s held up and I still have three more for future repairs on other ceiling fans.Although the first one broke, I feel these are a good quality set at a VERY fair price. My only other complaint about it is that the chain is so short. Fortunately, I still had the old/original chain that broke off, so I just coupled that to this one to make it considerably longer. It would be nice if these chains were just a couple inches longer than they are. That being said, I’m very happy with these and wouldn’t hesitate to order them again.

We have a ceiling fan on our outside porch that the light pull has torn up and won't allow us to turn the light off while the fan is running. This is a perfect replacement for this switch. It isn't the first fan this has happened to so I'm happy to have extra in case the others break as well.They seem well made and include everything we need to replace the old part.Great find!
