Easy to assemble. We've received lots of rain so it didn't take long to be able to use for plants and pets. Recycling rainwater!

Was looking forward to using this for rainwater collection for my plants for the summer but algae develops behind the walls very fast. It gets slimy and ends up contaminating the water inside. I’ve had to empty it twice to clean it since I bought it two months, wasting the water. What a nuisance. Can’t return it anymore, so it’s probably going to be a winter garden storage unit.

The rain barrel was easy and quick to put together. When I accidentally installed this rain barrel on tilted ground ghe forst time, the barrel later, on its own, tilted and then fell over and rolled down the hill, emptying itself out to my regret at the loss of 50 gallons of rain water. So far, no animals have attacked it, despite plenty being out here. By the way, it is a good idea to place an anti-mosquito doughnut dunk into the rain barrel to keep mosquito larvae from making a home there. My vegetables seem to like rain water much better than chloramine-treated city water, so this is a good investment for the long run, useful even after the drought situation just got called off after the recent heavy rains.

Purchased with purpose for indoor plant feeding. Arrived in great shape, easy to assemble. However, the legs have to slide vertical into a tight vinyl like material, not an easy task if you have larger hands or lack patience. I found pulling around the area to make material taunt def helped. As with any water items that have spouts, I used plumbers' tape, hoping to avoid any drips/leaks. Made sure gaskets on each side of vinyl for all the spickets as instructions read. First time, I sat it on the floor in my office and began to fill. Watching for leaks, all seemed good until the water reached the bottom spout. Thats where the issue is, couldn't stop the leak. Returned and the company was GREAT, sent me a replacement and I sent back the leaking unit. So, 2nd one arrives, this time i assemble same way, as per instructions still adding my plumber's tape & filled it up in the tub. I suggest tub or outside so that it's easy to dump if needed and if leaking, you won't have a huge mess. Needless to say, same issue occurred. Bottom spout leaks no matter which way I tried. If I was going to be using this outside, the leak wouldn't be an issue. Not recommended for indoors due to LEAK ISSUE.The company was very great about retuning both items and refunding me timely

WITHOUT PREJUDICE - Zip more than faulty, leaking from bottom, doesn't provide all the rubber seals... paid more because believed you get what you paid for, watched you tube review on amazon products of which some imported products know that they may sell for 1000 percent inflation and get away it with it on Amazon.

I had trouble getting the rubber tipped legs (6) into their rubber sleeves. If there are two people then it should only be a hassle. It is as advertised. I did not have any leaks with installing the two faucets. You need to make sure you have a washer, (provided) on both sides of the barrel. It took forever for the faucet to fill my water can. This is with a full barrel of water. It would be nice if the faucet was plumbed to take a regular garden hose or add an attachment to the faucets to convert it to a regular garden hose attachment. I would buy this product again.

Good little rain barrel for what you are paying for it. If you Expect top quality and a super sturdy hard walled barrel then feel free to pay 3x the price to get it!That being said the instructions are definitely not the best. But once you figure things out setup isn't bad at all. The "leg" rods can be a bit of a pain to start sliding into the sleeves on the sides of the barrel they go into but once they are in its no problem. The drain/overflow valves it's pretty self explanatory how they go on, one thing to watch for is the bottom drain needs *THREE* gaskets. One on each side of the barrel fabric plus one in between where the two pieces of the valve screw together... If you miss that one it will slowly drip from that connection constantly. All in all only took about 1/2 hr to set it up. Make sure you fill it about a third to half way full with water and it will be plenty stable.

Great container for the price. Black rubber washers a little to fragile so you shouldn’t over tighten fittings. I am using it for inside use so that I can pre- mix my nutrient solution in a deep water culture. Should make for easier water exchange. I’ll have to test bottom outlet for a gardenia hose fitting. (I think!) .The top zipper is a bit finicky but the ability to block light and prevent algae growth is imperative.I would have liked an inside volume measurement in gal or liters.
