Over a year of product development went into the design of this shirt using input from police officers, special operations operators, and military personnel. The result is a new industry standard in BDU style shirts. Made of tough, polyester/cotton Ripstop, the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt stands up to the rigors of patrol and special operations. Known for superior comfort, functionality and fit, the shirt features a bi-swing shoulder for a wider range of motion. For best results, pair the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt with the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Pant. The chest pockets of the 5.11 Tactical Duty Uniform Ripstop Shirt are strong and roomy. Below the chest pockets, you’ll find our patented hidden document pockets. These pockets will not only handle your paperwork but can also be used to conceal a small handgun or any of your everyday gear such as digital recorders, cell phones or flashlights. The 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt utilizes 65%polyester/35% cotton ripstop material that resist tearing and abrasion. The shirt is triple-stitched and bartacked in all stress areas. Included are neoprene elbow pads located in the double layered elbow pocket. The elbow pads can be removed for washing or left out of the pockets for less rigorous activities. On the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt, we use only genuine melamine buttons that are super hard and heat resistance. The 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt with all of its new features and great quality is priced competitively with the lesser quality BDU’s on the market. Having been in the USMC, I think this shirt/blouse is extremely well built.Very worth the money.You will never need another shirt.65% Polyester, 35% Cotton according to tag on garment.

Propper Quality at higher than Propper prices. The features and construction of these articles in no way justifies the price. You're better off buying a cheap knock-off that's actually cheap or army surplus.

After wearing a set of tru spec I kick myself for not have purchasing this sooner. Heavy duty! $80 for a top is steep but this gear is resilient and tough stuff, ready to take what I dish out. I am impressed with the quality.
