Couple years ago I started noticing these type of connectors being used on home electrical systems, recessed lights, other applications House so I finally took a diver. Purchased it and get away from the old twist locks to keep the wise together. I have to say these are great to work with their precise and they do keep the wire intact so if you’re looking to do two wires, the two wires, three wires, the two wires, any different type of application this is the only way to go. The only thing is that if you’re working in boxes, just make sure you have the room to use this type of connector. Sometimes the limited on space you have to use the old type twist nut

Bought these for a solar wiring project I was installing. #12 - #20 wires held securely and safely.Much easier to change circuits when adding components. Just open the lever and the wire comes right out!Works with solid or stranded wire. None have come loose unexpectedly yet, and I doubt they ever will.Excellent product for multiple environments.(Not underwater).

They are bigger then push-on connectors. This makes them harder to use in small boxes. But I like them a whole lot better then the old wire nuts. So they have there place.

These wire connectors do what they say. I will be using these for 12 volt DC on a few projects. I like the 3-gang connector to use for 3-wires but also for 2-wire connections. I just plug the extra hole with a piece of stripped wire jacket. They are also good for disconnect/reconnect - not as convenient as a quick-connect plug but they allow for ease of disconnect and reconnect without making the stripped ends brittle.

Very good solution for removable wire connections. Fast, easy and safely holds the wires. I don't mess with wire nuts anymore.
