When my high-end hand pump went out, I needed something for my PCP airguns to keep them charged while I fixed the other pump, so I bought this unit. So far, I think it's working better than my much more expensive pump, and it appears to be almost as well made. The gauge seems to be pretty accurate on it, the foster fitting hooks up easily and without leaking, and pumping effort is comparable to any other pump. The instructions are obviously written by a non-native English speaker, but it's not hard to figure out what is being said. I really appreciated the detailed information on problem solving and the extra parts provided, should I run into issues.

This pump works very well with my Barra 1100Z PCP rifle with a low tune. If you do plan shooting most of the day the pump can get a little tiring.

Assembly was quite easy and it seems packed well enough. Upon initial testing I found that it had a slow leak that I could not detect by sound, but it was clear after leaving it at pressure for a while that it dropped quite a bit. I gave all the fittings a little torque and then it held pressure just fine.If you're not familiar with manual high pressure pumps, get ready for a workout! I got this as a backup to my electric pump and while it does work, it absolutely is not preferred. I weigh about a hundred and seventy five pounds and I can get my feet off the ground at the bottom of the stroke and frequently have to 'hop' on it to get that final push for the stroke to matter. Since I started my PCP adventure with electric pumps I cannot tell you if this is normal for a hand pump. I am however, able to use this for my Beeman PCP and get a proper tank full after quite some effort. I generally don't let my pressure drop bellow 2.5k though as it's pretty useless at that point, so it's not like I'm filling from zero. Still I prefer not to use this and only will if I must, but I'm glad to have it and it's handy enough to keep stowed.
