The original charging port on my MX650 was in bad condition- it was loose-fitting and the cover had broken off so it was time for a replacement. This replacement part includes the plug connector and is identical to the original item. It fit perfectly into the bike, and the charger fit perfectly into the new port. The wires are thicker than the original wires, which doesn't have any direct impact on anything for better or worse, but does make it feel like a higher quality.My only complaint is that this kit did not include the two screws that hold it to the cover so you have to re-use the original screws. All in all, it's a great replacement and works perfectly.
