The handles would not screw on and not twist. Not worth the hassle. Will return

for one, the handles on this are ungodly loud. first thing i did was tape them down so my neighbor wouldnt complain about the clanging noise twice a day. my cans are on top of the litterbox furniture so i dont have to move them up or down. but the bigger problem is the "airtight" top. that is not air tight as it pops off numerous times a week. the seal doesnt want to stay on the can? i dont know. nothing inside the can is hitting the lid so i have no idea what would cause it. should have gone with cans that have some kind of clasp closure up top.

Great for dog food and very cute. Much healthier than using plastic containers!

I purchased these because I had been reading that putting my babies food in a plastic container allows chemicals to leach into the food and that isn’t a problem with these. And a big plus they look nice as well.

I love these dog food bins. The materials throughout are high quality and everything that the dog food is exposed to is natural and food safe. The lid is a lovely piece of wood. It's rather heavy, actually, but not too heavy. No cheap at all. The cute little bone handle on the lid, and the dog face on the side of the bins are cute details. Just enough to know it's dog dog food, but still pretty classy. No need to hide these bins, because they look nice! The handles are a bit overly simple and finnicky. I do find that when I want to lift and carry this, I need to make sure the handles lift correctly. They can get 'stuck' a bit and not lift all the way, and if you carry it like this is may suddenly slip into the fully lifted state, which I think leaves possibility to pinch skin or cause minor injury. But as long as you make sure it lifts all the way before trying to carry the bin, it will never be an issue.Sometimes the seal on the lid is so strong that it takes quite a bit of strength to open it. That's my biggest annoyance with these bins. But how can I be upset that my food is so thoroughly sealed? I can't be. I have to accept this as a good thing. All minor annoyances aside, I love the quality of materials and execution very much. These are WAY better than plastic bins. 10/10 recommended!

I use these for the dog food and dog treats. Does seem to close and seal well. Not sure how long the ceramic bone handle will last, it feels a little fragile. I did have to replace the first set as the bone was broken for each but the second set is fine and replaced without issue. Holds a lot of dog food for sure. Easy to move, has good handles on both sides. attractive so ok to have out on display.
