These are very good quality brass shackles similar to those found on a sailboat but much smaller. They can be used for key chains or decorative purposes. For the price these are a good value. The shackle is held closed by a threaded bar that can be completely removed. They have an inside diameter of 16 mm.

These are nicely made and finished miniature D ring shackles. I didn't realize how small they were when I ordered them. They are about the size of my thumb. They are very well made. I have never seen a D ring shackle that was quite as nice as this one, and the price is pretty good (IMO).So if you have a need for miniature shackles that look really good - you'll like these.
