This scope is great for viewing across our yard into the area around our pond and the field beyond. We often have wildlife out there and this works well at getting a closer look.I was excited that I could also used it to take photos with my phone (iphone 16E) - those results were disappointing. I just didn't get the sharp focus that I was seeing when I looked through with my eye. There weren't any instructions for how to do this part, beyond how to attach the phone mount to the scope. I'll include a couple photos (sans wildlife as there wasn't any that day; you'll have to imagine a deer in the flowers and a bird in the tree)

My Eyes Just Aren't what they used to be. The YINMONE 25-75x80 HD Spotting Scope is Really Easy to Use, There is a Lightning Quick Focus Knob That Works Remarkably Well & The Optics are Crystal Clear.The Scope Arrived in a Nice Purpose Built Cardboard Box, Two Lens Covers, A Zipper Case, Flimsy Tripod, & A Cell Phone Attachment. Both of The Lens Covers Work Perfectly, The Zipper Case is Light Duty & Works Well. The **Tripod is Very Unstable - Loose & Flimsy. The Crystal Clear Images are Among the Best I Have Ever Seen In A Spotting Scope.I Gave the YINMONE 25-75x80 HD Spotting Scope a Full Four Stars Across the Board. The Spotting Scope Is Easy to Use, Very Durable, The Images are Crystal Clear, IP54 Waterproof, & The Fast Focus Knob is Just More Icing on The Cake. **I Took Away a Full Star For the Disappointing Tripod Supplied In The YINMONE 25-75x80 HD Set.

When it comes to a spotting scope, your number one criterion is lens quality.Well, this scope has it. The lenses on this are extremely good and not in a "for the price" way. They are just plain good optics.The coatings are better than some telescopes I own costing far more. The pictures supplied are showing the reflections of bright light sources from the lens and the camera has compensated for the lack of brightness by over exposing it. When you look at the reflections with your eye, they are far less than what the pictures show. The inside looks very dark and well baffled so no crazy reflections to distract from the image.The color correction is really good too. While not APO, this is far better than your typical achromatic lens. I saw no fringing on a bright white surface at maximum magnification.The body is well made. The focus is smooth and precise. Zooming is a little rough/unrefined but not horrible.Now for the bad bits.The stand is junk. Just don't bother. Get yourself a decent stand. It takes standard 1/4-20 camera fittings so this is not hard or expensive. Throw this one out.The camera adapter works. I don't really use them, but it will work. It does slip a little on the angle adjustment, but you can fix this easily by fitting a piece of paper between the two smooth plastic surfaces. Not hard to do and will make a significant improvement if you want it to hold its position. The eyepiece coupling works well.The front lens cap on my unit did not fit. No matter how I tried, the cap was slightly too big for the scope and couldn't grip it. It's an easy fix for me as I have a lathe, but if you don't, this may become an issue and you really want to protect the pristine front lens on this!I took one star off for that lens issue. Not being able to protect the quality lens they fitted is just not acceptable.
