These 2.55 Inches stainless steel eye screws are sturdy. The six screws were in a plastic box, handy to store what you don’t need right away. I’ve used two to hold hanging plants under my eaves. Each plant weighs about 15 lb. and has large plastic hooks that don’t fit into small eye screws.While I don’t doubt the eye screws themselves can hold up to 200 lb., I would certainly want to be sure they are screwed into an equally sturdy piece of wood before putting that kind of load on the wood holding the threads.
