The problem with reviewing "contingent" products like this is that you can only judge it on how well it APPEARS to fit your idea of the product. Is it a foil lined, well-built bag suitable to hold a large quantity of batteries? Yes. Is it probably safer than throwing them in a crate in the corner of your garage? Also yes.No way to tell if this lives up to its claims until I have an actual battery fire, and that's not something I want to voluntarily test. So until I can literally give this a trial by fire, I have to give it a *prospective* rating of five stars.

This battery bag offers an inexpensive means of insurance, providing affordable and much-welcomed peace of mind. The bag is quite large so you can fit dozens of outdoor / hand tool batteries without issue - I store about a dozen batteries in one single layer with plenty of room to spare, so sometimes in a hurry I can put my entire cordless drill in the bag, battery attached, and zip it up and go.

Everything about this battery bag says quality, materials and workmanship is excellent, large capacity and value for the money, as far as explosion or fire proof I hope I won't have to experience but hopefully if it happens it will withstand good.

This is a large, very well made bag for storing and charging Lithium-type rechargeable batteries. The bag is said to be fire-proof as well as explosion-proof. It’s not practical for me to test either of those claims, but I have no doubt that it is indeed fire-proof, b/c it’s constructed very similarly to the two fire blankets that I own (specifically, the Prepared Hero Emergency Blanket, which I highly recommend and bought here on Amazon). However, when it comes to the bag being explosion proof, we’re in a position where we must trust the manufacturer’s word on it (or not trust it). B/c of the specific materials it’s made of (see Amazon description for details), I’m inclined to believe them. But the necessary knowledge here is way beyond my areas of expertise. What I do know is that the bag is very well constructed, and contains materials that are in fact known to suppress both fire and explosions. Now while this bag is specifically designed to hold and protect relatively large power stations (i.e., Lithium-Polymer batteries; see Amazon description for specific types), I’m going to use the bag to store and charge my numerous power-tool batteries (Lithium-Ion). Right now they’re just sitting in the open in my garage/workshop, and this bag is just what I need to store them much more safely. If your Lithium-type rechargeable batteries are just sitting in the open too (including much smaller Lithium-Ion batteries that so many electronic devices require, I strongly suggest that you store them in this bag or one like it. But since I have looked at this bag very closely, I can at least say I highly recommend this one!

I have moved several times in the past few years, and often take things between properties. I just got the 200AH LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Fireproof Bag, and i am very pleased with it. The large capacity, fire-proof, and explosion-proof design give me peace of mind while transporting, storing, or charging my devices with combustible batteries. The bag is well-made, durable, and safe. I did not test it with a blowtorch but it does appear to be constructed with fireproof materials. Some reviews have mentioned the designer's logo on the side. It is a little bit extra, but it doesn't bother me too much. Functionality is way more important with these things. If you need a reliable and safe battery storage solution, this bag is the one.

This is for "200AH LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Fireproof Bag (21.9*9*9.4 inch)"Price at review time: $31.99 before 10% off coupon.Unlike the first photo in the listing, bag sides are not rigid at all. Folds to a foot square for storage. I put a marine/rv type battery of similar dimensions into the bag, fits fine with extra room on all sides. With the cover closed, bag grips battery fairly well due to the handle straps going under the battery. If I were to use this on a regular basis for transporting tool batteries, I'd add a plank of wood at the bottom, with a layer of grippy material on top of plank to keep batteries from sliding around.

I ordered this fireproof bag for my husband to use while charging and storing his RC LiPo batteries. On paper, it seemed like a great solution—plenty of room for both his charger and batteries, and it felt decently well made. But unfortunately, it has a serious flaw that makes it hard to recommend. The main issue is the material. While fiberglass is common for these types of bags, this one is covered in tiny shards. Every time anyone touches it, loose fiberglass ends up on their hands. The irritation is bad enough that, even if the bag were perfect in every other way, my husband wouldn’t want to use it again. He thought about trying to clean it off somehow, but realistically, the fiberglass would probably just keep shedding over time. And beyond that fatal flaw, he wasn’t confident in its performance during charging either. His setup was to place both the charger and battery inside, zipping it mostly closed with one corner left open for the power cord and a little ventilation. But it got quite warm inside the bag, which made him uneasy. He tried another approach—using just the long velcro strip to seal it and leaving the short ends open for better airflow—but that felt like it defeated the purpose of having a fireproof bag in the first place. While the bag is roomy and seems solidly built, the fiberglass irritation and poor ventilation are dealbreakers for us. My husband has gone back to using metal ammo boxes instead—they feel safer and more reliable for his RC battery needs.
