Nice parts. They saved me a lot of shaping on a rough blank, and it's well worth the cost. I found a used 12-string with the topnut chipped. The topnut and bridge were both cheap plastic. There are two sets, so you have a spare if you mess one up. I had to cut almost 3/8" off the bridge piece to get the action in the right ballpark, but that's to be expected. A good scroll saw is excellent for this job. Just be careful with your fingers and set the hold-down tab firmly on the bone, or it will try to grab and bounce. It could easily break the blade doing this if not set right. Take it slowly, too. A hand coping saw will do the job, too, but will take much longer. All in all, I am delighted with the purchase. The bone is clean and very white. The string slots are pre-cut, look accurate, and are evenly spaced. I will have to adjust the slots, but it's an excellent start, so your file will stay put. Take your time, and it will be a nice improvement.Looking forward to playing it when it's all finished with the repairs!

The saddles will work for 6 strings and for 12 strings. They are 75 mm wide, plenty wide for most acoustic guitars I have seen, including Yamaha. Most bone saddles are 9 to 10 mm tall. Some guitars need taller. I have one. At almost 13 mm, these are tall enough that I had to take some off the bottom. (I am used to gluing a shim to the bottom of the more common shorter saddles.)If you don't need the extra height, you have more filing and sanding to do, but it can be done. I will keep my second of these saddles for a future guitar that needs the height, and not waste it where a common 9 or 10 mm tall saddle will do.The nuts are about 49 X 6 X 9 mm.

I had to rebuild the saddles and adjust the nut groves on my old acoustic/electric guitar. The guitar is unique as it has 6 individual saddles on an electric pickup. One for each string. The quality of this product made it easy for me to cut the saddle into 6 pieces and adjust the height for each saddle. Most people do not have to do this much work but the bone is good quality and was easily shaped with a rotary tool. Fortunately I didn't need to replace the nut so now I have two spares.

I love where the price is just right and where the guitar saddle is made out of bone not just a cheap peace of plastic instead it real bone made that will you a long time .

The 12 string nuts were fine but the saddles were far too short for a 12 string. They were 6 string saddles. The quality of the bone is very good. I repair stringed instruments so I'll keep the 6 string saddles for other jobs.

Strong enough to handle string pressure yet soft enough to file and sand easily. I suspect length of Bridges & Nuts are long enough to handle the widest necks. 2 pack is a great value.

I had to file this down to fit into 12 string guitar and wow is this hard. The strings don't even begin to dent it. It is definitely real bone and is solid pure goodness all the way through. For this price, I'm very pleased.
