Light, practical and effective. Don’t tighten too much. It irritates your throat when you sweat

While using the Veil, at dusk (and otherwise clothed in heavy work wear), I was amongst a few yellowjackets -- I'm in a process of trying to kill off a ground nest of them -- but they were not angry and not attacking me at that point, so I'm not 100% positive how the Veil will work if I am attacked by them.

Friends of mine mentioned they had found bees, hornets, wasps in their cabin, so as a useful (but fun) gift I bought these to help them be safe, but also as a birthday gift. They loved it. And they came in handy and kept them protected. They are light weight, and fit perfectly, and did the job. Not what a real "professional" bee keeper would use but worked well for the purpose. Btw, the bees are gone now.

I use it around the yard when the bees are upset for a few days after bee collection and honey collection.I would not use it for bee inspections, as any light breeze or bending over can get the veil in contact with the nose and ears. The bees could also find their way to get under the veil. For inspection, I use a veil attached to a jacket or suit.It is a great value - cheap (2 for 8), easy to put on and off, good visibility, and light duty.

Worked as intended, there were a few times I forgot I was wearing it and tried to drink water. Hahaha. It could use a chin strap to keep it from falling off your head when you lean over/down.

I'm allergic to bees and this past summer had plenty of beehives to take down. While using the net over my face along with gloves long sleeves and other items, I was safe and not stung. I recommend these to anybody dealing with bees
