So easy to do!! Could be better with instructions but I figured it out!

Well this two pack is off to a bad start, the wet wipes were almost completely dry. There was just enough moisture in them left to take out the few smudges on my new iPhone. After I placed the alignment tray on the phone and started to pull, the tab broke off with only half of the backing removed.I managed to salvage the first screen protector but after applying it in an ad hoc fashion, there are some small bubbles that I can’t seem squeegee out the sides.Aside from that, the performance of the screen protector doesn’t work.as well as I had hoped. Even at 45degrees, you can still see the keypad on the Lock Screen pretty clearly. The privacy polarization only works laterally when holding the phone in portrait orientation. If someone is standing behind you and looking down, they can completely see your screen. Likewise, if you hold the phone in landscape orientation, someone to your right or left can clearly see your screen.

I was really excited about this. I just got an iPhone 16 pro max and I wanted to protect it, so I ordered this. I’ve never been good at installing these screen protectors so the biggest selling point for me was the easy install or as others put it "practically installs itself"1. The items do not come with instructions, so unless you think to go back and scroll through the pictures on the listing you’ll just have to figure it out on your own- which someone else here did mention and is the only reason I checked the listings pictures for the instructions.2. BOTH of the install kits failed. We did exactly as the instructions said; pull the dust remover tab, then press down on and remove the "watch the magic happen" sticker. You could see a tab still stuck at the bottom of the screen protector but no way to remove that without taking the kit off and removing it, then self applying (which as I said before I am NOT good at) I went to self apply the first screen protector after removing the adhesive that was still stuck to it (separate adhesive from the dust remover & magic happen thing) and there was already stuff stuck to it so I wasn’t going to put that on my screen. I applied the second one after removing that extra strange adhesive and as per usual when I self apply had to reposition it a couple times so it was aligned and while for the most part it went on okay there is a small bubble at the bottom that I can’t get out, so I’m just leaving it as is.3. In all of the advertisement here (both in the title & all pics) I didn’t see anything about this being a privacy screen. I personally did not want a privacy screen, and lo and behold this is a privacy screen. But isn’t even a full privacy screen, it’s only slightly darkened/privacy when tilted to the side, not up and down. Even then it’s almost like the screen just fades a little.4. This is not fingerprint free/proof (the second biggest selling point for me) I noticed almost immediately smudge marks and fingerprints directly following install. I cleaned off the screen because I had touched it quite a lot trying to get it on correctly and then touched it again to see, and another smudge/fingerprint.I am only giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the clear case it comes with is actually pretty nice. It feels like a good plastic that seems like it will efficiently protect, and I like that the interior of the case that touches the back of the phone is (and I’m going to butcher this explanation) is a soft but rugged/rough carbon fiber. The feeling of it seems like it will protect the phone from getting scratched beneath the case. The buttons are all covered (aside from the side camera button) but still reactive to normal touch. So the case overall is good quality. I have a case I’m already using that I like, but I’ll keep this one as back up for sure.So closing thoughts- I am REALLY disappointed in this. I only got one protector out of what was supposed to be a set of 2. Unless you’re tech savvy, elderly folk, for example, may have a difficult time with this due to the lack of clear instructions and even then, BOTH kits had malfunctions and didn’t work properly so the whole selling points as advertised are worthless. I’m sure there are other kits just like this that are available and actually work that would be worth not only your time, but money. I’d pass on this.

Was very easy to install. After cleaning off the grease and dust from my phone screen, I just pulled the large sticker off the back of the protector (which is already placed inside the alignment frame). Then I dropped the whole frame onto the phone — it lined up perfectly.Next, I pulled firmly on the tab on the opposite side, and as I pulled, it smoothed out all the bubbles automatically. I only had one small bubble in the corner, which I easily pushed out with my thumb.I specifically chose this one because it has an oleophobic coating, and it works — no fingerprints, which is a big plus compared to cheaper screen protectors that smudge easily.The included TPU case looks good and fits very well. The buttons are fully covered but still work perfectly — pressing them feels natural and responsive, with no added stiffness or delay.One small con: I didn’t expect this to be a privacy or security screen, but it sort of behaves like one. The screen visibility drops off sharply at around 30 degrees, making it harder to view from the side. Not a deal breaker, but worth knowing if you often share your screen or use it off-angle.I got this mainly for the screen protector since I just got the new iPhone 16 Pro Max and hadn’t decided on a case yet, so the included case was a nice bonus that I’m actually happy with for now. I think the case will protect my phone against minor scratches and drops until I find a more rugged one.Overall, a great value and super easy to apply.
