You get a shield (very nice and no different than Biltwell or Bell) AND the piece that attaches to your helmet allowing you to flip up the shield.

I bought this for my Biltwell Bonanza open-face motorcycle helmet because I wanted the ability to "flip-up" my bubble visor so I could talk to someone. For that purpose, it works great. The bubble shield offers great protection while riding and I didn't any light distortion. Riding on surface streets at speeds below 50 mph it worked great.However, once I got on the highway and was cruising at highway speeds (55+ mph), the visor and "flip-up" portion started rattling quite a bit. I had to hold it with one had to keep it from vibrating too much. At 60 mph it's tolerable, any faster than that and it rattles too much for my comfort and really affects my vision.

This thing is perfect. My girlfriend (The Sidecar Junkie) wanted a bubble shield but found that she sometimes wanted to enjoy the wind, so we gave this thing a shot. It’s perfect. Light weight and easy installation. Highly recommend.

Got 2 of the chrome ones for my wife and I. We dig'em! A lot of comments about the snaps. I'd just say be gentle on them and they should be fine? Would definitely recommend though!

Review specifically for the Bubble Shield and flip-up adapter:This is my third bubble shield (first from 1STorm) and so far, it’s proven superior to the others I’ve owned. Despite other’s complaining of the flip adapter, the shield snaps snugly to the adapter, and the adapter snaps snugly to my new Daytona open face helmet. In fact, I was immediately impressed with the superior sturdiness of this adapter versus the others I’ve owned.I’ve only taken a few rides with this shield, so I may eat my words, but I’m truly impressed with the initial quality of this bubble shield and adapter and anticipate them withstanding the test of time.

Overall:As I state in the "Pros:" section below, I bought this face shield for use when I ride WITHOUT my windshield and I think it performs remarkably well. It is a very good price and has a really nice retro-look that quickly attaches and detaches from my helmet. I would definitely recommend this face shield.Pros:I gave this face shield five stars because it does exactly what I purchased it for, which is for use with my Torc T50 (Route 66) style helmet (although it works on most 3-snap helmets). When I ride my motorcycle WITHOUT my windshield I need something to protect my face from bugs, particles, etc. This shield works surprisingly well. The wind against the shield keeps it pressed firmly against the helmet and keeps it from making very little noise or movement. It provides ample air flow around my face, so it doesn't feel hot or stifling when it's down. At stops I lift the shield up for some fresh air and down again when I go.For what I purchased it for, I really have nothing negative to say about this shield. It's inexpensive, it snaps on my helmet easily and stays on, even when I turn my head, and it doesn't make noise or move when I ride my motorcycle WITHOUT my windshield.Cons:When I ride my motorcycle WITH my windshield (I have a quick-detach tall windshield), the airflow at my head changes dramatically and causes this shield to vibrate and jiggle quite a lot. It vibrates so much that I can't see very well. It also makes a great deal of constant noise (from vibrating and jiggling). This shield is completely unusable for me when I ride WITH my windshield.
