These hood struts were a quick and easy fix for my 2017 Lexus RX350 F Sport. The old ones were getting weak (which became really obvious when we had a dead battery and were in near zero temperatures in Illinois) and the hood wasn’t staying up as it should. Swapping these in took just a couple of minutes—no tools needed beyond a small flathead screwdriver to pop off the old ones. Once installed, the hood lifts smoothly and stays up without any issues, just like it did when the car was new. The fit was perfect, and they seem well-built, with a strong lift force that should hold up over time. For the price, this is a no-brainer compared to OEM replacements. If your hood isn’t staying up like it used to, these are an easy and affordable fix.
