Just for those who didn’t read the entirety of the specs this is a cable bow not a string bow .the cable snaps very very quickly which is probably great for the speed of the arrow but it’s a little aggressive compared to string bow ,it snaps like a whip ! It’s pretty small for an adult cuz it can hit my wrist if not held perfectly .still a good bow for the price very powerful just takes getting use to .

I really like the bow - it works great.Also. it was described as "like new" so I was worried about condition but it was just like new without any scratches etc. Therefore I am very happy with the product.

Got this for my wife as a starter bow. The bow itself is fine. If you know what you're doing then there's no issue adjusting draw length & weight. No need for a press, I just turned the cams by hand. The extras in the kit were nice but the peep is worthless since the bow string is rubber coated metal wire.

I feel I was misled in the description of this product. Maybe it was me assuming it was an adult bow instead of a youth bow. It isn't very accurate, does not shoot well. It can be used either right or left handed. The accessories that came with it made it look like a real professional bow, but don't let that fool you. I almost sent this back but didn't want to go through all the hassle so I saved it for my young daughter and I will find me an adult bow from someone else.

I have always wanted a bow and arrow set as long as I can remember. I found this listed and was extremely excited when I saw the package waiting for me on the porch. I grabbed it as fast as I could "I am going to use this right away!" I said as I opened the package...only to find that the two arrows advertised on this listing and on the box to the set are not present...this feeling that I got right now...this is one of devastation as all I talked about since buying this yesterday was how I was going to finally have a bow and arrow set. And now, I am unable to try it out as I have no arrows. This feeling of being so close and still never getting what I desire is the worse kind of trick and I cannot even bring myself to give credit to the quality of the bow because guess what...I cannot even try it. One star only because I cannot give zero.

My son began attending a summer camp two summers ago (end of fifth grade) where archery is one of their activities. Fell in love with the sport. His school also offers archery, and he is in it. They start the kids on recurves and see how well they do before moving them to compounds in school. When we realized just how much he enjoyed archery, I contacted his camp director and the archery sponsor to ask what kind of compound bows they use. Both use Genesis, but the cost for me was out of reach for me to purchase one for use in the backyard. I think Genesis offers schools and camps a discount for bulk buyers like schools and camps.I looked locally for a bow that would compare; I did not find one. When I came back online, I found this one. It doesn't have the limbs like the Genesis, so I was not sure if this was going to be a completely different experience from the Genesis, but I bought it and hoped it would be a good one. Well, it was a good choice. My son is thrilled with it. Took him an afternoon to get used to it. No real difference between how this style shoots v. the kind with limbs. If you're wondering about who this bow will fit: my son is a slight build at 12 years old, 5'3", and 90 pounds. He's a first degree blackbelt, so he's strong and lean, and has no problem with the draw and has not adjusted it (yet). My husband, at just over 6 feet and over 200 pounds, also has no problem with it. Our son has been the one teaching him how to shoot. However, I think that if my husband were to have purchased one for himself, he'd have gotten one with a little more heft to it.A couple of things my son has done:~He has removed the sight. He just doesn't like it.~He's been able to nock both fiberglass and carbon arrows, with a mm range of 5.5 to 7.5. If you buy this bow, buy a set of carbon arrows as well, as the fiberglass arrows that come with this are obviously heavier and the tips are bulkier. They nock and fly just fine, but they aren't my son's favorites. Right now, he likes these arrows because the color of the base of the nock makes it easy to find if they go astray , but his favorites are these .~He does not use the finger guard because it does not fit him. He brought it to his archery sponsor who agreed, it's just not designed well for him.~I gave him an old calf compression sleeve to use on his arm instead of the arm guard, because the guard that came with the bow does not provide the kind of protection you need if you nick yourself with the bow strings.I have included some pictures that I hope will help if you're trying to decide. The arrow rest is already pretty nicked from having arrows shot through them frequently. The riser is really comfortable to grip. Bowstrings easy to draw back.I also appreciated being able to buy a bow that was not in camo, as my son isn't into hunting. He's just into it for target practice. I have a feeling that as my son gets bigger, he will want a bigger bow, too. Probably a bigger one with limbs. He'll be going back to camp again this summer, and by next summer, he'll be to the point where he's a a junior counselor. I think by then he'll be able to take on archery counselor. The main thing: it's great fun. My son enjoys going outside after he finishes his homework to shoot at the target we made. Much nicer than wanting to play video games!
