I got thos for a 1985 8hp Johnson and the back plates are not the same. Had to swap them and you need to use the SAE bolts to put it back together as it comes with metric bolts. Does work great just a little annoying that it needs to be modified to make it fit.

Do not buy this garbage pump. Straight out of the box it pumped nothing. Salvaged a 20 year old one and now my outboard runs.

Fit was good on my OMC 1968 6hp. Seems to work just fine but I've only ran it for one hour. Longer 3/16 bolts were needed as new pump is slightly deeper. Gas lines, one needed longer second just made it.

The item arrived on time and fit perfectly. The motor runs great now! I did have to tear it apart to put the input and output tubes in the correct configuration.

I'm resurrecting a 15hp Johnson that has been in storage for a number of years and the old fuel pump was shot. This was a perfect fit and supplied a strong fuel supply.

Product is complete rubbish, thread holding the adjustable inlet fitting was stripped new out of the box rendering the thing useless.Complete was of money.
