About this item

  • These scratchers can be adhered to a box, a board or other, to allow your cat to use it to help with keeping your cat's nails filed and trimmed. Some cats love cardboard ,so opted to give it a whirl in a small cardboard box would also be a way to get cats' nails trimmed.
  • 3 different sizes come in this package with 4 of each size provided. If your cats like scratching the litter box, this is a better way to keep the litter box from getting damaged.3 sizes are 14.2*4" 14.2*2" 11.8*2"
  • To get your cat to use these just sprinkle with catnip, move the cat towards it and simulate the scratching with their paws on the pads.
  • These can even be adhered to a cat scratching post, as long as there is an area that is can be adhered to.Helps in between cat's official nail trimmings. The strips stick to the bottom and sides of the box and last through many cleanings.Fot those cats refuse to use the cat scratching post.
  • Please clean the litter box before stick, make sure no cat litter left on the box interior surface or the etropes won't stick.

I like them more than my cat does, especially when I can't find my nail file. My cat is picky and our house is really tiny

Stick very well where you put them. My kitty hasn't used them yet, maybe with in time she will.

I got these to put in the bottom of my cat's litter box hoping it would decrease the need to clip his claws. My cat's claws grow really sharp really fast, and he absolutely hates having them clipped. I basically have to have someone hold him down while I clip his claws or I will end up getting torn apart in the process. This is not a fun procedure for me or him, so I was hopeful these would help dull his claws enough to keep them in checkI have tried these kind of scratch pads before on a scratching post, but he refused to use them so I put these in the bottom of his litter box. This comes with a few different sized pads, and I was able to use two of the large pads and one smaller one to pretty much cover most of the litter box on the bottom. So far they are sticking wellI have had these in for about a week and it does seem to be dulling the claws somewhat. I don't think this is going to eliminate the need to clip them, but I probably won't have to do it as often which is an improvement. The main problem is that they are already getting less abrasive as litter gets compacted on to them, and it also makes it more difficult to clean the box if my cat urinates directly onto the pads. I have a feeling these will only work for a short time before they will need to be replaced, so I'm not sure this will be a long term solution

This was a good idea but my cats had that thing off the bottom in 2 seconds. I GLUED one down to see if it it would work.... They scratched it.... No difference in nails. Good idea that failed in application & grit needed to be a lower number.

These were suggested to stick inside the litter box where the kitty scratches.. They do not stay stuck.. And I don't think they did anything for the cat's claws...

I really can’t believe all the erroneous reviews on here. The fact that your cat won’t touch it is actually a good thing! For example, makes it the perfect strip to stick to areas of your home and furniture that you don’t want your cat to touch! If you do want them to use it, then put it where they can’t help but use it!! Just as the product demonstrations actually shows, stick them to the bottom of your cats litter box! They can’t help but use it there. Don’t think of thess as forming a scratching post because that’s the last thing that they are. They are a highly effective tool for helping you control where and when your cat scratches. Come on people. Learn to think outside the box or please don’t post reviews.
