Doesn't stick to furniture very much well when cats actually try to use it.

Modiigty - 118.11"x15.8" Cat Scratch Mat, DIY Trimmable Self-Adhesive Cat Scratch Carpet.I got this to put on some shelves I installed on our wall for our cats. The shelves needed some extra grip. This has worked perfect for this use. Easy to place, easy to trim with scissors.Note, I tried to place the plastic film back on a trimmed piece because I need to answer a phone call and did not want my cat to walk on the unstuck sticky side. BUT then that film did not peel back off, I had to throw that strip away. So lesson learned : Do not peel off the film until you are ready to place it.I also put a vertical strip on our leather couch that the cats have taken to scratching. Thus far they have NOT scratched on it, not even once. ... Cats!! It also seem to peel off part of the coach that has an angle, no biggie I just press it back down. But I suspect if my cat were scratching on it I would need to rethink how I placed the scratcher carpet strip. It arrives with an odor that does need to air out for several days before use.

I order this about two months ago. It's very strong on both sides adhesive and scratch side. If you putting it on the wall your going to pull all the paint . But I can say my two cats are leaving my furniture alone so it's worth it. It was big enough to put two 10 inch stripes almost to the ceiling on two walls. It's not from cats under 4 months my babies kept getting suck to it. I would have to help them get off. But now that are 6 months they run up and down the wall. It's only comoing apart a lil at the bottom where they play the most. It's the best buy buy buy

I used this to make a scratch wall for my cat. He does use it, so it's cat approved. Mom says it could be heavier fabric, the backing is a reflective, almost foil-like fabric, and the middle is foam. I was hoping the front fabric was sisal, it is not. But it suits our needs for now. It is a very large roll for the price.I cut the whole piece of fabric in half. Easy to cut with plain scissors. Hot glued to wall and I used panel nails around the edges. Then I hot glued 3 rows of 6 mm sisal rope around the outside and used fencing staples at each corner and end to make sure it didn't come off. In general, it was easy to use, but not as sturdy as I was hoping. It is holding up over the last month, but is showing some wear already.Overall, it's great fun to scratch and to use for kitty parkour. He really enjoys using this wall, and I enjoy him no longer scratching up the drywall there. I would use actual carpet remnants for my project next time, which I'm sure there will be. His health and fun is important to me, so I will rebuild when necessary.

This cat scratch adhesive matt worked much better then the clear sticky vinyl stuff I used before this. This Matt is pretty thick and can take a beating from cat claws. The adhesive is also strong and the matt stays where you stick it. It's easy to cut and shape the matt to fit where you need it.There wasn't enough of it for me to cover my furniture, so I cut and shaped pieces to fit the spots my cat's like to scratch the most. I also wrapped a few boards with this stuff and set them up like a scratch post, surprisingly it worked a little, not as much as I would like. Quick tip, don't wrap this Matt around curves or edges. Cut it at the edge, to make a "seem". I wrapped it at the edge on a chair, and one half kept pulling up, couldn't get it to stick.
