The pipe alignment clamp is a little fiddly but for the price it does the job. The tiny clamp included is hardly big enough to be considered a compliment to the larger clamp. The build quality is about as expected for the price on a lightning deal; probably a pass at list price.

The pipe clamp works well. It has a swing away arm that makes it able to accommodate different size pipes. The adjustable clamping pressure works well and will hold the pipe firm during use. I does not hold as firmly as the type with the chain, but it will still do the job. I have lots of clamps for all different uses, but did not have this style.The pipe clamp appears to be well made and strong. It is comfortable and easy to use. The 5" extra clamp is more lite duty and cheaply made. I will still add it to my clamp collection as it does work.Bottom line is I would recommend this pipe clamp for medium to heavy duty applications. The small clamp you get is a bonus and used for lite duty applications....

Sure, these can be great for welding, but like any tool they can be used wherever they are useful. These Vice Grips are great for grabbing pipes, but can also be used for general maintenance and for even for woodworking projects. These look to be decent quality and have nice rubber grips on the large ones. The baby grips are nice too with long reach. Very useful.
