About this item

  • TA2 titanium alloy, also known as Commercially Pure Titanium (CP Titanium), is a very common titanium alloy material. It consists mainly of titanium with a purity of over 99.5%.
  • TA2 titanium sheet is able to remain stable in many environments, especially in air below 500°C. A dense, stable oxide film forms on its surface, which is protective and prevent further oxidation.
  • TA2 titanium sheet has good processing properties and can be shaped by cold or hot working, such as forging, rolling, drawing and other processes. In addition, TA2 titanium has good processing performance, can be adjusted through the processing technology and heat treatment to obtain different properties.
  • High strength: TA2 titanium alloy can still reach a tensile strength of 370 to 530 MPa and a yield strength between 280 and 450 MPa. It has higher strength than many traditional metal materials.
  • Because of its excellent physical and chemical properties, TA2 titanium sheet is widely used in aerospace, marine, and biomedical applications. In the aerospace sector, TA2 titanium sheet is often used to manufacture aircraft structural parts, engine components and aircraft parts.
