  • Phase Sequence Test: When the A,B,C Phase indicators are all on, the R indicator lights up to indicate positive CW phase, the L lights up to indicate negative CCW phase.
  • Motor Rotation Detection: Testing single/3-phase motor direction without physical contact. Simply align clamps parallel to the drive shaft – no frequency converter compatibility (VFD motors excluded).
  • Phase Loss / Short Circuit Detection: when there is a phase loss or a short circuit, a corresponding indicator light is off ( A or B or C indicator light is off).
  • Live Wire / Circuit Breaker Detection: Attaching any clamp to the test wire. If the wire carries AC power (70-600V), the matching A/B/C phase light will turn on. If no power is detected, the light stays off.
