This green jersey was signed by Mark Cavendish in London on May 13th, 2024. Cav made a sensational comeback to the Tour de France in 2021, winning four stages to equal the record of 34 held by the great Eddie Merckx. After years of injury, illness and loss of form, the Manx Missile was only drafted in as his team's main sprinter a week before the tour began, when injury befell Sam Bennett. He won stages four, six, ten and 13, claiming victory in the points classification in what was surely the greatest sporting comeback of all time.
